The important thing about LED lighting is not only to make as much light as possible, but to put it where it is needed. Vehicle light housings are designed with halogen bulbs in mind, meaning that the lens outputs a focused light with a halogen bulb. Lots of cheaper LED's aren't engineered correctly, so they scatter the light all over the place so they don't actually appear that bright, even if they output thousands of lumens. Our T8 series is engineered to work with the factory housings to focus the beam properly, even with projector housings.
